Their final Chicago location opens tomorrow in the Loop at 218 S Clark.

Over the past month, I've been the crazed artist in a dirty apron, moving among the throngs of impetuous construction workers, brash delivery men, and wide-eyed newly hired cooks and servers. I've navigated some pretty treacherous conditions, including painting a mural in an unheated restaurant without running water or bathrooms, and with doors being continually opened to let in the blasting Chicago winter wind and cold. Yes, my paint did freeze a little bit. Yes, I did freeze a little bit. But did I get it done? You bet I did.

The place is officially beautified. You can find 12 oversized chalkboard illustrations and 2 large wall murals amongst other signage at the Loop Native Foods Café, all done by yours truly. Go! Enjoy! And try the delicious vegan food too!

You can check out my custom art at the other Native Foods locations as well at 1484 N Milwaukee and 1023 W Belmont.

New blog!

http://www.amanda-paulson.com/1/post/2011/11/new-blog.html

http://www.amanda-paulson.com/1/post/2011/11/new-blog.html#comments

Uncategorized

This most recent revision of my website comes with an installation of an actual blog - huzzah!
